Haew Narok Waterfall

Haew Narok Waterfall or Namtok Heo Narok is the largest and highest waterfall of the park, this 3-tiered cascade is popular during rains. Haew Narok Waterfall is south of the park office ( Nern Horm Gate ) on the way to Prachin Buri. Visitors will have to walk 1 kilometre from the main road to reach the viewpoint where the beautiful waterfall can be seen. The waterfall has 3 levels.

The first of Haew Narok Waterfall is about 60 metres high. Water from this level goes down to the second and third levels straight down below, with a total drop of at least 150 metres. The water has considerable strength in the rainy season and is quite dangerous, but refreshing, when it comes splashing down on rocks at the bottom. All route after you arrived Pak Chong,  then continues with departure from Pak Chong to Khao Yai National Park by local car transport service there, Thai people call Rod Song-Taew Pai Khao Yai ( รถสองแถว ไป เขาใหญ่ ) This local transport service is operates from 8 am. until 5:00 pm.

Go to Khao Yai National Park by PRIVATE CAR

  • BANGKOK – KHAO YAI Route 1 : Take Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin) then Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap) at Saraburi to Pakchaong Nakhon Ratchasima. The total distance is 259 kilometres.
  • BANGKOK – KHAO YAI Route 2 : From Bangkok, take Highway No. 304 past Min Buri, Chachoengsao, Phanom Sarakham, Kabin Buri, Wang Nam Khiao, Pak Thong Chai, to Nakhon Ratchasima. The total distance is 273 kilometres.
  • BANGKOK – KHAO YAI Route 3 : Take the Bangkok-Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok route then connect to Prachinburi then go on to Highway No. 3077 continue to Noen Hom Gate to Khaoyai National Park.
